My story - Luna Rose

I'm a Yoga teacher, Pilates teacher, Personal Trainer and group exercise instructor. 10 years ago I decided to follow my dream to work as a fitness professional as I was 35 years old and my biological clock was ticking.
I used to pretty much hate yoga and pilates, preferring the kind of classes that you would leave looking like you had been swimming and feeling like you had been hit by a bus. I used to teach 20 of those a week.
During the lockdown period I ended up with severe burnout due to stress and was unable to exercise like I used to. My previously fit and strong body gave up on me, I found myself with constant injuries and chronic pain and fatigue. I loved my job and wanted to continue but I wasn't able to teach the types of classes I used to and changed to teach mostly gentle yoga and pilates classes while I was recovering. I was forced to really use my yoga and pilates training to heal my body, having to rebuild my fitness from scratch.
I ended up with a skillset that was far more useful to other people than teaching aerobics! I have a knack for helping people make friends with their bodies again.
While I was ill it was my dream to get better and set up my own yoga and pilates studio where I am my own boss and can offer the range of classes that people want.
Classes at the studio are not like the classes you will find in your gym. They are more like small group personal training. I will work with you individually to find the exercise variations that suit you rather than you having to struggle at the back of a large group.
My goal is to help you to create your own daily movement practice for your health and well-being by listening to your body's needs.
